Violin & Viola

I’m Emily Gasper. Principal violist of the Hendricks Symphony, a graduate of the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music, and a teacher of more than ten years. I work with kids as young as 4, teens digging into repertoire, and adults finally picking up the instrument they always meant to.

Now booking new students wanting to study violin or viola.

The studio

A warm room for exploring musicians.

The studio is small and intentional. I teach from my studio in downtown Brownsburg at Elevate Offices, and families come from across Hendricks County and the west side of Indianapolis.

What I want for every student, whether they’re three or forty seven: sharper ears, steadier hands, and more of themselves to bring to the next piece. I play in the same community I teach in, and I think that matters.

What are Parents Saying about Emily?

“I wanted to share with you…you have given her her spark back!!!” – Sarah

“She’s been working with my 4 year old daughter Lily on violin, and honestly, she’s been amazing. Lily actually gets excited for her lessons, which is not something I ever felt as a kid learning music. Emily has made it fun for her, and that’s a gift. Teachers like Emily make a real difference.” – Joel

“Hi Emily, thank you so much for today. I love the way you teach and interact with my kid. She is super excited about playing the violin!” – Natasha
